This site gives you information about some of the large scale public events carried out by the Royal Marines. All these events provide valuable public relations opportunities for the Naval Service and at the same time enable us to raise money for our worthy charities.

	The Mountbatten Festival of Music This is one of the longest running events in the world famous Royal Albert Hall and plays to capacity audiences over 3 nights. A great Spring event.
	The South Coast Proms This relaxed and fun “picnic in the park” annual summer event raises money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity. It is held in the historic and picturesque setting of Whale Island Portsmouth, the home of the Royal Navy.
	Beating Retreat held every other June, this event takes place on Horse Guards Parade in central London. This is the largest of our events and showcases the celebrated ceremonial splendour of the Massed Bands.
	Eternal Voices Eternal Voices is an autumn concert series held in different cathedrals around the United Kingdom and featuring Royal Marines musicians and local choirs performing together.
	RM 350 2014 is acknowledged to be the 350th anniversary year of the formation of the Royal Marines. A wide range of events will include those that are routinely undertaken by the Royal Marines.
